BD600 BOD System
- Significantly reduced sample preparation
- Simply add the sample to the bottle, add nitrification inhibitor and place the sensor head on the bottle. No sample dilutions or seeding required. As a respirometric test, concerns about air in the sample are eliminated entirely.
- No operator presence required at test completion
- Measurements are automatically taken and stored at regular time intervals and can be recalled at your convenience — no more weekend trips to the lab or plant. Measurement time is user-selectable between 1 and 28 days.
- Easy graphical interpretation of results
- As new testing methods become available, firmware updates are available as a free download. Never have an outdated instrument again.
- Consistent measurement conditions
- The Automatic Start Function ensures all measurements are taken at an equal sample temperature, eliminating the impact of temperature and pressure fluctuations on results.
- Sample identification and tracking
- Assign an identification code or sample name to each new sample directly from the BD 600 interface, ensuring full traceability from collection through to measurement.
- Remote control operation
- When using an incubator with a glass door, the supplied remote control allows operators to display measurement data without opening the door — maintaining consistent sample temperature throughout the test.
