MD50 Range — Single Parameter Photometers
- Dedicated single-parameter analysis
- Each MD50 instrument is pre-programmed and factory-calibrated for one specific analyte — from chlorine and pH to COD, turbidity and beyond — making it ideal for routine field testing and dedicated laboratory applications where a focused, reliable instrument is required.
- Robust, IP67-rated design built for the field
- The MD50 features a rugged industrial housing with rubber-protected sides and an IP67 waterproof rating, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding environments — from treatment plants and industrial sites to outdoor field sampling.
- Accurate, reproducible results — every time
- The innovative optical system of the MD50 delivers exceptional accuracy and speed, ensuring precise measurements in record time. Factory-programmed methods cover different reagent types (tablets, powder packs and liquid reagents), so the instrument is ready to use straight from the box.
- One-Time-Zero function
- Zero the instrument once for each new sample — all subsequent tests of that sample do not require re-zeroing. The OTZ function can be activated or deactivated for individual methods in the settings.
- Automatic data storage with time and date stamp
- The MD50 automatically stores the last 100 readings and protocols, each with a time and date stamp. Results are retained in memory even during a battery exchange.
- NFC and USB-C data transfer
- Transfer data wirelessly via NFC to the free AquaLX® app (iOS and Android), which displays results as illustrative graphics with min/max limits and exports data as Excel®-compatible CSV files. Data can also be transferred via USB-C cable to Lovibond® Data Expert software for PC-based analysis, firmware updates and user-defined method programming.
