- Optical luminescence technology — no electrolyte required
- The SD 400 Oxi L uses state-of-the-art optical luminescence technology for dissolved oxygen determination. Unlike conventional electrochemical sensors, no internal electrolyte is needed, no sample flow is required for stable readings, and there are no interferences from other gases. Maintenance is reduced to a minimum.
- Drift-free, highly accurate measurement
- The optical measurement method is inherently drift-free, delivering extremely precise and reproducible results. Accuracy is ±1% of reading (or ±0.1 mg/L) up to 20 mg/L, with automatic temperature, pressure and salinity compensation to match individual measuring conditions.
- Ideal for dilution BOD determination
- The optical DO probe is optimised for standard Karlsruher BOD bottles (NS 19/26), making the SD 400 Oxi L ideally suited for standard-compliant dilution BOD determination — an important application in wastewater treatment, environmental monitoring and research.
- Integrated data logger with SD card and free software
- Calibration data are sensor-specific and stored on the integrated Micro-SD card, which also contains free software for monitoring, storing and transferring measurement data via Micro-USB to a PC. No additional software purchase is required.
- Choose your cable length — three sets available
- Set 1 includes a 1.5 m probe cable (PN 740060) — ideal for bench and surface sampling. Set 2 includes a 3 m probe cable (PN 740070) — suited to shallow immersion and field use. Set 3 includes a 10 m probe cable (PN 740080) — for profiling, deep water sampling and remote monitoring. All sets include the instrument, optical DO probe with calibration SD card, storage bottle, carry case and accessories.
